With the sale of homegrown talent Alberto Aquilani to Liverpool, AS Roma were recently forced to make an important sacrifice, but felt it was important to bring in some money for the financially troubled club.
The Giallorossi are continuing to work hard on the transfer market, so these are hectic days for sporting director Daniele Pradé, who gave an interview to Radio Radio Tv.
”We turned down their offer,” he revealed.
“Will there be other sales? We care about this club and if there will be important offers then yes, there could be more sales. The financial balance is important and if necessary we will bring in more money.”
Pradé made an appeal to the fans to be patient and have faith.
“I have launched a slogan: give us faith and try to look at the positives, not just the negatives,” he added. “Take Inter, look how they lost in the Supercup. We need a new mentality, the English mentality of sportsmanship and accepting defeat.”
