Before this article, we had published “Be careful against prevention and cure of wrist Injuries“, and time to explain its symptoms. Signs and symptoms of wrist injury include the following:

Swelling
Heat/warmth
Pain
Discoloration
Limited ability to move the joint
Deformity

In case of wrist injuries, you had better immediately go to a doctor who will examine and may prescribe X-rays to rule out a fracture or break. In case a torn ligament, break or fracture is diagnosed, the physician suggests wearing a splint or case. In severe cases, a surgery is usually necessary.
In case you have suffered a wrist injury -

- Immediately use ice to the affected area to reduce the swelling
- Reapply ice after every 3-4 hours for a period of Two days
- Don’t move the wrist and stabilize it by using a support, guard, brace or splint.
- Avoid any exercise or rigorous movement of wrist for 2-3 weeks till your wrists can move freely and are pain-free.
